Offshore experience camp

Participant: Anyone interested in working at offshore environment.
Training space : MTC.
Training Duration : 1Day
Training Purpose : After finished the camp, delegates have basic understand of working environment in offshore wind power industry.
Content :
Basic safety knowledge in offshore environment.
Basic understand of sea survival training (with implement).
Basic understand of working at height (with implement).

  1. 18 years old or above; weight must be in-between 36 and 120 kg
  2. Must possess a valid GWO WAH
  3. Recommended to hold a valid GWO Slinger Signaler certificate or an equivalent credential

Course Description：
  • This is a customized training course for the SKYLOTEC ActSafe ACX powered ascender.
  • The purpose of this course is to equip participants, through both theoretical and practical training, with the knowledge and skills to correctly perform pre-use inspections and operate the powered ascender safely during lifting operations.
  • The course covers general safety guidelines for using powered ascenders, basic safety requirements and configuration for lifting operations, risks and protection related to lithium-ion batteries, an introduction to ropes and rope feeding demonstrations, as well as the importance of demonstrating emergency procedures.

Goracon G-servicelift Installation & Maintenance (GWB-250/450-SWP)

Eligibility：
 

  1. 18 years old or above
  2. Must possess
    • a valid high angle rescue training (e.g. GWO ART or IRATA or equivalent certificates)
    • a valid medical examination for working at heights (e.g. OEUK or Seafarer Medical)
    • qualified technical/electrical education according to national regulations (e.g. GWO BTT-M+E or electronic machinery related certificates)

Course Description：
The overall purpose of the course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to install and maintain the Goracon GWB-250/450 SWP lifts. Participants will learn to identify hazards, implement appropriate preventive measures, and perform daily checks in accordance with the Goracon checklist.
