MTIC was honored to host a distinguished delegation led by Mayor Hiroshi Kanazawa of Tomakomai, Hokkaido, and representatives from Nikkei Inc..

Hosted by Dr. Chia-Ju Liu, Chairperson of MIRDC, the visit focused on mutual exchange and featured a tour of our core facilities:Offshore Engineering Center: Advanced Deepwater Basin demonstrating top-tier maritime engineering simulation.

This visit served to deepen the relationship between our two regions, and we look forward to continued friendship and future exchanges.

2026年の新春を迎え、海洋テクノロジー産業イノベーション專區（MTIC）は、北海道苫小牧市の金澤 俊 市長 率いる訪問団、および日本経済新聞社 の皆様をお迎えいたしました。
当日は、金属工業研究発展センター（MIRDC）の劉 嘉茹 理事長 による歓迎のもと、双方の現況紹介を通じた相互交流が行われるとともに、当専區の主要施設をご案内いたしました。
視察の主な内容：離岸工事センター： 最先端のシミュレーション技術を備えた「深水試験水槽」を公開し、海洋工学における技術力を提示 。
今回の訪問は、両地域の絆を深める大変貴重な機会となりました 。今後も末永い友好関係を築くとともに、さらなる交流が続くことを心より期待しております。
