To support innovation in marine energy and maritime engineering, MTIC officially launched the Offshore Engineering Center (OEC) last year, establishing Taiwan’s most advanced facility for technological validation.

The OEC’s mission begins with providing localized stability and safety testing for offshore wind turbine platforms. In the long term, we will expand our reach into forward-looking fields such as marine energy, offshore photovoltaics, and marine agriculture.

By integrating numerical simulation with hydraulic physical model testing, we ensure every R&D outcome can withstand combined environmental loads.
